Registration Information and Rotation for Undergraduate Arts & Sciences, Business, and Leadership Studies Classes

These times indicate when each class will be permitted to access registration in BannerWeb. Students will register with their current class, not their future (or "rising" class). For example, if you are a current junior, you will register in the "Current Juniors" time slots.

Please note:

  • *For registration purposes, SCHOLARS are defined as Bonner Scholars, Richmond Scholars, Oliver Hill Scholars, or students on ROTC scholarship.
  • TRANSFERS & READMITS: Registration class determined upon admission or readmission – you should check your registration class on GradTracker.
  • BANNERWEB: On Fridays, BannerWeb may be unavailable from approximately 6 p.m. – 10 p.m. 

In preparation for upcoming registration, please be advised Duo Security two-factor authentication is required for students to be able to access BannerWeb when not connected to the campus network. If you have not already done so, please make sure you are able to successfully log in using Duo before registration begins to avoid any registration delays. All questions regarding Duo should be directed to the Help Desk.

In addition, please review the Registration Checklist and keep the following in mind to maximize your registration success:

  1. Registration is programmed to open precisely at the time listed above on your registration day and will not open early. Do not continuously refresh your browser prior to your registration time. Doing so may slow down the system significantly. All times are Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
  2. Do not use automated means of registration. Their use is a violation of the honor code and will significantly impact the system. The University will be monitoring registration closely and will follow-up on all suspicious system-related behavior.
  3. We encourage use of a single device and a single browser during BannerWeb registration:
    1. Logging in from multiple devices will cause each device to automatically log you out of BannerWeb.
    2. Logging in from multiple browsers on the same device also will cause you to be automatically logged out of BannerWeb.
  4. If the registration system appears unresponsive, please continue to attempt to register for at least 10 minutes after the start of registration. If the system is not functioning at that point, the Registrar's Office will send all students additional registration instructions.
  5. For fall 2025 registration, we strongly recommend NOT using the VPN for priority registration if you are connected to the campus network; doing so may slow your connection.
