Professional and Continuing Studies Class Schedule
Class schedules are published for each semester and for the summer sessions. Schedules list courses that will be offered in the upcoming semester; refer to the school's catalog for a full list of courses available (but not necessarily offered in a given semester):

Limits of Work
The University of Richmond School of Professional and Continuing Studies operates on the semester system. A normal course load for students who are employed full time is six semester hours. Some students find it possible to pursue nine semester hours. Your academic advisor will help you determine the appropriate schedule.
During the Fall and Spring semesters, students may not take over 18 credit hours without the dean's approval. Students may enroll in no more than a total of 18 credit hours during the entire Summer Term without the dean's approval.
The minimum load for an undergraduate to be full-time is 12 semester hours; for a graduate student to be full-time is 9 semester hours.
Summer School Registration
The School of Professional and Continuing Studies has open enrollment for Summer School. There are no admission requirements for Summer School, just a simple registration process. Adult students wishing to pursue a degree through the School of Professional and Continuing Studies must apply using the SPCS Application and be accepted into the degree of their choice before registering.
