Reserve Academic Space

The Centralized Scheduling Service may be used to reserve academic space. Please be aware that classrooms cannot be reserved during exams. Please go to the exam schedule for those days and times.

Special Note Regarding Academic Classroom Scheduling: Regularly scheduled academic classes receive first priority for use of classroom spaces. Requests are processed on a first come, first serve basis by term and only when the academic schedule is verified or after the add/drop deadline, whichever is earliest.

Access to Academic Classrooms

Keys for meeting and event reservations are located in THC on the 2nd floor at the Center for Student Involvement (CSI) Information Desk.

  • Please have your Spidercard with you as well as the event date and location information.
  • Keys will need to be returned to the CSI Information Desk within 24 hours of the event concluding. There is a key drop box in the hallway of the Commons next to CSI that can be used anytime the building is open to return keys.

Operating hours can be found here: https://involved.richmond.edu/about/index.html

Please be aware that the Center for Student Involvement front desk will be closed on all university observed holidays. Additionally, the CSI hours are subject to change during other university closures such as those related to weather conditions and university student breaks such as Spring Break and Summer Break.

Approved Student schedulers may use the EMS Web App to request campus meeting and event locations.

If you have questions about making an event request, please email Events & Support Services or call (804) 289-8585.
