Holds on Registration and/or Transcript

Hold Types

The following holds will prevent students from registering (students can access BannerWeb to check holds):

  • Admissions Office
  • Advising
  • Bursar (Student Accounts)
  • Dean's Office
  • Parking Services (Student Account Hold)
  • Perkins Loan in Repayment
  • Registrar's Office
  • Student Conduct
  • Student Educational Program Sanctions
  • Student Health
  • Summer Fellowships (URSF)

Viewing Holds on BannerWeb

To view your holds:

  1. Log into your account on BannerWeb
  2. Select "Student Services"
  3. Select "Student Records"
  4. Click on "View Holds" and you will see either a message or you will see holds that you may have.
    • Holds: If there are any holds listed, click the “contact list” link above the holds and contact the Originating Office that placed the hold so that you can resolve it.
    • Message: "Holds on your record may not be viewed on the web” means that you do NOT have a hold."
    • Message: "No holds exist on your record” means that you do NOT have a hold."
